GPS is the modern method of navigation. This course starts at the beginning, teaching you how to use your GPS, how to determine where you are and how to get to where you want to go.

Improved position information, course planning and real time speed/direction data improves your boating safety and cruise enjoyment but reduces transit time and fuel consumption.

The course is scheduled for 4 weeks with three evenings of instruction and the exam scheduled for the fourth night.  Included in the course is a fully illustrated colour manual and a student's CD. The CD includes a GPS simulator which allows you to practice GPS navigation on your home computer.
