The Maritime Radio Course teaches you how to operate a VHF Marine Radio aboard a recreational vessel including:
- How to make routine and emergency calls using Digital Select Calling and Voice procedure
- Frequency selection, phonetic alphabet, procedural words and phrases
- the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System
After successful completion of your exam you will receive your Restricted Operator's Certificate (Maritime) card.
